16 Keys to Finding More Time In Every Day


  1. Get out of bed not much later than 6:00 a.m., earlier if you can.
  2. Listen to audiotapes while you drive.
  3. Have a quiet hour every day.
  4. Get rid of the clutter.
  5. Set up an efficient filing system.
  6. Start using a follow-up system.
  7. Handle mail only once.
  8. Throw out stuff you don't need.
  9. Tear out the pages of interest from your magazines and throw out the rest.
  10. Phone instead of writing.
  11. Take a book along to read when you're traveling or waiting in the dentist's office.
  12. Get proficient with latest technology. E-mail can save time and money.
  13. Delegate where practical.
  14. Be achieving more than one goal with the same activity.
